9 September: Angus Deaton “Understanding and misunderstanding randomized controlled trials”

On September 9, 2016, the Paris School of Economics welcomed sir Angus Deaton (Princeton University, Woodrow Wilson School), recipient of the 2015 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for a conference which was entitled « Understanding and misunderstanding randomized controlled trials », an article jointly written with Nancy Cartwright (Durham Univ. & UC San Diego). This conference was realised in partnership with the Fondation de la Maison de la Tunisie - CIUP, within the framework of the Labex OSE. With the participation of François Bourguignon, PSE Emeritus.
