Workshop on Spatial Data: New sources, new perspectives | 1 December

The Unité mixte de recherche “Development and Societies” and the Paris School of Economics invite you to a workshop on Spatial Data on December 1^st, 2023 in the Pavillon Indochine of the Jardin d’agronomie tropicale de Paris - René Dumont, in Nogent-sur-Marne (25 minutes from Châtelet - RER A).

This workshop, organized by four PhD students from both institutes, is intended for researchers, PhD students and students from all disciplines who want to learn how to use spatial data or already use this data in their work.

It will consist of three types of sessions:

• Masterclasses where specialists will present how they use spatial data (mobile data, satellite data...) in their work;
• Workshops at different levels to discuss the processing and representation of spatial data, and to learn some software;
• A round table during which experts will offer their thoughts on the articulation of software and best practices.
