The American Foundation for the Paris School of Economics (AFPSE) and the Gould Foundation have established an exchange programme with the United States for researchers and Post-Docs.
This programme aims to encourage scientific collaboration between the United States and the Paris School of Economics. It offers visiting researchers the opportunity to discover PSE and to carry out research projects in one of the associated research centres. The programme is intended to host visitors from American Universities and Research Centres, and to allocate research grants to PSE researchers for research visits to the United States.
The programme especially encourages visitors whose research will contribute to the development of PSE, via their interaction with PSE researchers, or their longer-run implication in the School’s research programme. Most visits will be between one week and 10 days. Both PSE visitors and PSE researchers travelling to the United States will have their transport paid for and will receive a per diem.
The programme will finance a dozen such visits in 2009-2010.
Applications should be sent to Georges de Ménil, President of AFPSE: gdemenil gmail.com with a copy to be sent to Hamid Ouahioune, before June 30th, 2009.
