Post Doctoral Research Position in Development Economics

The Paris School of Economics (PSE) invites applications for a 3-year Post Doctoral Research Position in Development Economics. The position is funded by the INRA and offers salaries in line with the standard of top European universities.
The Post Doctoral Researcher is expected to work on the project “Constraints to adoption of profitable agricultural technologies by the rural poor”, in collaboration with Karen Macours (principal investigator), and a team of other senior and doctoral researchers at PSE. The position also provides opportunities for independent research and interactions with the large academic community of PSE.
Applicants should have received a PhD within the last 5 years, or be close to finishing their PhD; a solid quantitative/mathematical background, related to economic theory or econometric methods; and an interest for economic issues related to agriculture and development.
Knowledge of French is not required.
