The Philippe Michel young researcher prize in economic dynamics has been awarded to Hippolyte d’Albis and Emmanuelle Augeraud-Véron

The Philippe Michel young researcher prize in economic dynamics has been awarded to Hippolyte d’Albis, professor at the university of Montpellier and researcher at Toulouse School of Economics and Emmanuelle Augeraud-Véron, professor at the university of la Rochelle, Laboratoire de Mathématiques( MIA) for their article Competitive growth in a life-cycle model, published in International Economic Review.

The prize will be awarded on Thursday, october 15th, 2009 at the end of the Macro Séminar, which will be given by the laureates.
This will take place at Maison des Sciences Economiques, 6th floor, University Paris 1, 4 30- 6 pm.

The prize honors Philippe Michel, professor at the University Paris 1
Panthéon-Sorbonne and, later, at the University de la Méditerranée, member of Institut Universitaire de France, who passed away five years ago. The prize reminds us of the place he had in economic research and the role he played in advising numerous young researchers over the years.
