GRANT ESRC - ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RESEARCH COUNCIL
- « The long run history of economic inequality » , dates: from January 2012 to December 2014.
This project, led by Facundo Alvaredo, examines inequalities in the distribution of wealth. Research teams around the world are collaborating to compile immense amounts of data over a long historical period, paying particular attention to very high incomes and the mechanisms of intergenerational transmission (inheritances, gifts), and taxation. The researchers hope to refine their knowledge of the articulation of factors involved in the distribution of wealth, in order to understand better the changes in distribution of income and wealth and their social implications.
- « Heterogeneous quality of agricultural commercial inputs and learning through experimentation » , dates : from July 2014 to June 2017.
