About me

I am currently a Country Economist in the Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank. Previously, I was an economist in the Economics and Private Sector Development Vice Presidency at the International Finance Corporation. I held different positions at the World Bank Group in the Macro Trade and Investment GP (EFI PhD Fellow) and in the Poverty GP (consultant) where I contributed to diverse projects and reports. My work experience prior to the World Bank includes the OECD - Development Center and the Central Bank for West African States (BCEAO).  I hold a PhD in Economics from Paris School of Economics, a Master’s degree in Theoretical and Empirical Economics jointly from Paris School of Economics, University Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and Ecole Normale Supérieure as well as a Magistère Degree in Economics and a Bachelor Degree in Econometrics both from University Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. I taught macroeconomics at Université Paris Nanterre La Defense. My research areas include inclusive growth, private sector development, inequality, development economics, and applied econometrics.

I am very passionate about international development, traveling around the world, and African dances and music. Djembé and Kora are the African musical instruments I like the most.
