Economics serving society

The Founding Partners

The public founders

Apart from the State, which provided an initial endowment to the Foundation, six public partners were present at the creation of PSE. They provide human resources (Research, Teaching, Technical and Administrative Staff) and financial resources, as well as buildings, in the cadre of multi-year agreements:

Conseil régional IDFLe Conseil Régional d’Ile de France was fully implicated in PSE creation on the Jourdan campus.

The private partners “college”

> AFPSE – American Foundation for the Paris School of Economics
> Boussard et Gavaudan Gestion
> Exane
AFPSE et AXA are represented by Frédéric Allen et Gilles Moec.
The role of private partners is to help break down the barriers between academic research and civil society, and to ensure the solid financial footing of PSE. The presence of private partners is also a sign of good governance.
