During the first year of high school (“Seconde”), students can select the option entitled “Fundamental principles of Economics and Administration”. This option aims at providing them with notional understanding and analysis tools to enable them to develop a structured thought about the major economic and administrative topics.

PSE is a partner of the CES - Centre d’économie de la Sorbonne in order to reach this national goal : all the partners set up a teaching program, whose name is PLEASE, which offer a different framework from the one usually used at school. This framework is more varied and funier for students. Around a hundred of students in “Seconde” assist to 12 thematic seminars given by high-level economists. Those seminars tackle the current issues in Economics and Finance. These days also give the pupils the opportunity to live a real economic experiment within the LEEP, the Laboratoire d’Economie Expérimentale de Paris.
Tonia Lastapis, in charge of PLEASE within the CES, has been awarded the 2016 cristal medal by the CNRS: en savoir plus.
