Workshop: “The French Citizens’ Convention on Climate: A forerunner to future democracy?”

On November 27, 2020, PSE - Paris School of Economics organized an online workshop entitled “The French Citizens’ Convention on Climate: A forerunner to future democracy?” as part of the PSE collaborative project “Economie et Philosophie.”

The workshop was introduced by a presentation made by researchers who have observed the whole process of this citizen assembly that started in October 2019. Then a panel discussion was offered by specialists of deliberative democracy and political philosophy.
