On April 28, 2020, Jesús Fernández-Villaverde (University of Pennsylvania) gave an online lecture (Zoom) organized by the SCOR-PSE Chair: “Simple Rules for a Complex World with Artificial Intelligence”.

The lecture was followed by a presentation by Ludwig Straub (Harvard University) and Robert Ulbricht (Boston College), who got awarded the SCOR-PSE Junior Research Prize for their paper: “Endogenous Uncertainty and Credit Crunches”.

Jesús Fernández-Villaverde is Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Research Associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Penn’s Population Studies Center, and a Research Affiliate for the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His research agenda is in macroeconomics and econometrics, with a focus on the computation and estimation of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models.
