Mathilde Muñoz awarded with the International Institute of Public Finance Young Economist Award

Mathilde Muñoz has been awarded the IIPF Young Economists Award for her paper: “Do European Top Earners React to Labour Taxation Through Migration?”.

The International Institute of Public Finance encourages young scholars who present their papers at the IIPF Annual Congress. The award committee elects the papers presented at the congress according to their scientific quality, creativity and relevance.

Mathilde Muñoz is a PhD candidate at the Paris School of Economics and EHESS, under the supervision of Thomas Piketty. Her thesis focuses on migration and optimal taxation in Europe. She is also a research fellow at the World Inequality Lab.
