PSE Summer School 2021: welcome to all the participants!
For three weeks, from June 14 to July 2, 2021, PSE welcomes 259 participants from all over the world who attend (50/50 online and in Paris) the fifth edition of its Summer School. The number of professionals (18%) and students (82%) has increased by +25% as compared to 2019.
Eight intensive programmes are offered:
First week
- CLIMATE CHANGE - Impacts, adaptation and political constraints
- DEVELOPMENT - Inequality, social interactions and institutional dynamics
- INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATION - Applied platform economics
- MIGRATION ECONOMICS - Development impacts of migration and challenges in global labor markets
Second week
- INTERNATIONAL TRADE - Firms, policies and distributional outcomes
- MICROECONOMETRICS AND POLICY EVALUATION - Modern Estimation Methods and Machine Learning
Third week
- EXPERIMENTAL ECONOMICS - Empirical tools and methods to investigate economic behavior
- MACROECONOMICS - Understanding macroeconomic fluctuations
Coming from 65 countries (an increase by +25% vs. 2019), the participants - 43% of whom are women - have a large diversity of profiles : analysts, economists and consultants in the private and the public sectors, PhD students, teachers, managers…
