(save the date) Release of the World Inequality Report 2018 - 14 December 2017

The first WID.world Conference will be hosted by the Paris School of Economics on December 14th and 15th, 2017. Registrations are open on the WID.world website.

Programme

The provisional program for the conference is available through this link (pdf). The conference is structured along three axes:

  • The release of the first issue of the World Inequality Report #wir2018 on Thursday 14th (9.30 am – 1 pm). The report will provide global estimates of income and wealth inequality drawing on the latest evidence gathered in WID.world, and will discuss implications for future research and the global policy debate on rising inequality.
  • MEDIA: For any media related question, please contact press at wid.world.
  • A session in honor of Tony Atkinson in the afternoon of December 14th.
  • Presentations of research papers on income and wealth inequality, as well as on progress made on the DINA-Distributional National Accounts agenda.
