APE and PPD Masters

The Paris School of Economics proposes two Masters programmes, in close partnership with a number of top French academic institutions. Applications for September 2018 will open January 1, 2018.


Master EDCBA - Economic Decision and Cost Benefit Analysis

EDCBA is a Masters of Science (MSc) by Ecole des Ponts Paristech & the Paris School of Economics in economic calculation for investment decisions, applied to sectors of the economy currently in full expansion: planning, energy, environment, health, digital transformation. Applications are now open for september 2018.


Being a PhD student at PSE

The PhD program is a continuation of the Masters program. PhD students at PSE are registered at the Ecole Doctorale d’Economie ED465; this program is very demanding and the thesis must be completed within a three year period.
How to write a thesis at PSE? Students can enroll in the PSE Doctoral program once they have successfully completed one of thePSE Masters programs (APE or PPD). In order to enroll in the PhD program, a student must first have a staff member from the Paris School of Economics who has agreed to be their thesis supervisor. It is this future thesis supervisor who submits the student’s application. Please, note that direct applications from external candidates are not considered.


PSE Summer School

The PSE Summer School offers research-oriented teaching by leading experts in their fields. This year, these brought together around a hundred and fifty participants from all over the world in Paris, during 3 weeks, from June 19th to July 7th, within nine programs.

This French MOOC is developed in partnership with the Paris Dauphine University, Paris Science and Letters (PSL), the Research Institute for Development (IRD) and the Paris School of Economics (PSE).


PSE Exchange programs

PSE has entered into bilateral agreements with prestigious universities overseas and participates in a number of European exchange networks:
Bilateral agreements : New-York University (New-York & Abu Dhabi) and University of California Berkeley
Networks : EBIM, EDEEM, EDP, PODER and QED


PSE Students and Alumni awards

Each year, PSE students and Alumni are awarded national and international Prizes: the John Bates Clark Medal, the Young Economist Award, Le Prix du meilleur jeune économiste etc.


Students and Alumni life

Two associations are in charge of students and alumni life at the Paris School of Economics, organizing events all year long:
