Berkeley – PSE exchange program: The AFPSE Fellowships for international study
The University of California, Berkeley and the Paris School of Economics offer an exchange programme at the Masters level.
Two (or three) students having completed the M1 year of the APE or PPD programmes can spend the second semester of the M2 year at Berkeley.
Students must take and pass three courses as part of the Berkeley Masters program (which includes doctoral seminars).
The masters thesis must be jointly supervised by a Berkeley economist and a researcher from the APE or PPD programme.
The American Foundation for the Paris School of Economics Fellowships for international study will offer financial assistance covering the difference in tuition costs. Each selected student shall submit a report on his/her stay upon their return.
Note that participation in the exchange programme does not result in a degree issued by the University of California, Berkeley.
To apply, contact Jean IMBS and submit your CV, a research proposal, the list of courses you plan on taking at Berkeley, your M1 transcript of records as well as your bachelor’s transcript of records.
The dead-line to submit your application for the academic year 2016-2017 is April 11th, 2016. Interviews will be conducted during the week after.
