Alessandro De Sanctis

I am a Economist in the Directorate General International and European Relations of the European Central Bank. My research focuses on the role of networks in macroeconomics and finance.

I completed my PhD in 2021 at the Paris School of Economics. I hold a MRes in Economics from Paris School of Economics and a MSc in the same subject from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and University of Pisa. 

Beyond the academia, I worked for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Italy, the International Monetary Fund, the Bank for International Settlements and the European Central Bank.
