Sulin   Sardoschau

I am an Assistant Professor on tenure track at the department of economics at Humboldt University, Berlin.

I'm currently a visiting scholar at MIT. E-mail me if you're around and would like to chat!

My research interests lie at the intersection of empirical political economy, labor, and migration. I am particularly interested in the determinants and consequences of conflict over economic and political resources in diverse societies.

I received my PhD from the Paris School of Economics under the supervision of Hillel Rapoport and spent the academic year of 2015/16 as an associate at the department of economics at Harvard University under the sponsorship of Alberto Alesina

I am a Research Affiliate at IZA, a Research Associate at the RF Berlin Institute for the Economy and the Future of Work, a fellow at the Institut Convergences Migrations and the Berlin Centre for Empirical Research on Migration and Integration (BIM).  I am also a member of the Ethics Committee of the German Economic Association (VfS) and the Minorities in Economics Committee of the European Economic Association.
