November 27, 2023: Budget Conference 2024

The Institut des politiques publiques (PSE/GENES) and the Macroeconomics Observatory of the Centre pour la recherche économique et ses applications (Cepremap) organized the 2024 Budget Conference on November 27, 2023. The conference was followed by a round-table chaired by François Lenglet (RTL, TF1 and LCI) with the participation of parliamentarians members of the Finance Committee.

Introduction and part I (1/4)

• Introduction by Claudia Senik, interim director of the Cepremap and Antoine Bozio, director the Institut des politiques publiques.
• “Quelles sont les incertitudes autour du projet de loi de finances pour 2024 ?” by François Langot, director of the Observatory of Macroeconomy of the Cepremap, affiliated researcher at PSE and professor at Le Mans University.

Part II (2/4)

• “Quelles implications de l’indexation sur l’inflation du barème de l’impôt sur le revenu ?” by Sylvain Duchesne, economist at the IPP, Lola Josseran, economist at the IPP and Brice Fabre, director of the household taxation unit of the IPP.

Part III (3/4)

• “Une contribution à l’évaluation « carbone » du budget” by Rachel Paya, economist at the IPP and PhD student at the ESSEC Business School, and Paul Dutronc-Postel, director of the IPP’s environment division.

Round-table (4/4)

• Chaired by François Lenglet (journaliste à RTL, TF1 et LCI).
• Participating parliamentarians: Éric Coquerel, chairman of the Finance Committee of the National Assembly and Jean-René Cazeneuve, general budget rapporteur. The round table will be animated by François Lenglet (journalist at RTL, TF1 and LCI).
