In order to train Masters and PhD students according to the highest international standards, and to develop a flow of guest researchers, PSE has entered into bilateral agreements with prestigious universities overseas and participates in a number of European exchange networks:

New-York University (New-York & Abu Dhabi)

Localisation: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - New York, United States - Paris, France.
Nature: Research and education partnership since 2011.
Details: Crossed exchanges between NYU and PSE campus to incentivize common research projects. PSE professors give numerous courses and lectures in Abu Dhabi, some of wich conjontly with NYU professors.
Stays between two weeks and to two months, about fifteen researchers concerned every year.

Berkeley University of California

Localisation: Berkeley, United States - Paris, France.
Nature: Exchange programme since 2011.
Details: Selected students have to validate a set of classes or seminars in Paris and Berkeley, their research work are conjointly supervised by a professor of each institution.
A full semester, two or three students every year.
Supported by AFPSE.


Economic Behavior and Interaction Models (EBIM)

Nature: PhD trainings in quantitative economics. Under the shape of the German Science Foundation and the French Ministry of High Education and Research (since 2005).
Partners: Bielefeld and Paris 1 universities.
Details: 18-20 researchers affiliated to EBIM (8 of which of PSE) supervising about 20 PhDs

European Doctorate in Economics Erasmus Mundus (ED-EEM)

Nature: PhD programme (3 years), europeans or non-europeans students are selected by application. Financed by the European Commission since September 2011.
Partners: Coordinated by Université Paris 1, EHESS, PSE, Amsterdam, Bielefeld, Nova de Lisboa, Louvain and Foscari Venezia universities.
Details: 25 PhD are joining the programme every year, under the supervision of at list two of the partners.6 new in 2015-2016.

Programme doctoral européen en économie quantitative (EDP)

Nature: European programme allowing european students to spend a year of their PhD abroad since 1980.
Partners: IUF Florence, LSE, PSE, Bonn, Louvain, Tel-Aviv and Pompeu Fabra universities.
Details: 62 committed students in the programme since 2009, 12 of which of PSE.
PSE has written a dedicated EDP brochure (how to join, contacts etc.)

Policy Design and Evaluation Research in Developing Countries (PODER)

Nature: Programme aiming to hire and habilitate the welcom of PhDs and young researchers through the world in one of the partner institution.
Financed by the European Commission since the end of 2013.

Details: 38 grants allocated since 2014

Quantitative Economics Doctorate (QED)

Nature: European programme delivering PhD trainings since 1995.
Partners: PSE, Alicante, Amsterdam, Bielefeld, Copenhagen, Nova de Lisboa, Paris 1, Venice and Vienna universities.
Details: 4 to 6 PhDs are joining the programme every year. Classes have to be validated in at list two of the universities and the thesis in the institution of origin.
