Depuis le début des années 2000, les économistes se sont davantage penchés sur l’étude de la dynamique des conflits. Cette tribune d’Oliver Vanden Eynde fait le point sur les enseignements tirés de la recherche et sur les défis auxquels les chercheurs devront faire face dans les années à venir.
Oliver Vanden Eynde est professeur à Paris School of Economics et chargé de recherche au Centre national français de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). Il est également associé au Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Ses recherches portent sur les moteurs économiques des conflits violents, l’économie organisationnelle des forces de sécurité et l’économie politique de la fourniture d’infrastructures.
