Gianluca Violante is a Professor of Economics at Princeton University. He is also a Research Associate of the NBER, CEPR, IFS and IZA and a Fellow of the Econometric Society. He is currently part of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Economic Perspectives, and as in the past served as co-editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics and Econometrica. He has published in all top general-interest and many field journals on topics in macroeconomics, labor economics, and public finance. One of his articles won the Economics in Central Banking Award.
