Economics for everybody: Colonization and development by Denis Cogneau

PSE has developed the “Economics for everybody” initiative to open economics to as many people as possible by sharing and making accessible to all its researchers’ work, in connection with current events.
Economics for everybody includes:
PSE is a scientific partner of Printemps de l’économie. This annual event aims to “open the school to the economy and all its actors, and work for citizenship through a better understanding of the world.”
The Printemps de l’économie has a Scientific Council bringing together economists from research centers, higher education institutions, institutions, representatives of companies and the media. To truly approach the questioning of youth, it has surrounded since November 2014, a Student Council composed of about twenty students from higher education institutions.
Replay of sessions organized by PSE:
PSE is the scientific partner of Journées de l’économie (JECO). This annual event organized in Lyon aims to “bring the general public closer to the economy, by enlightening it on the economic issues and the major changes currently taking place.”
The JECO also have a Scientific Council which brings together economists, notably from PSE.
These actions are co-funded by a French government subsidy managed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche under the framework of the Investissements d’avenir programme reference ANR-17-EURE-0001.
