The Paris School of Economics is organizing a session on Wednesday, March 19, on the theme: “Thinking about public action: reasons, objectives, limits, evaluation“.
Public action is the subject of numerous debates, both political and within civil society. A great deal of social science research has been carried out on the subject in recent years, based on precise analyses and detailed data. How should/could public action evolve today? How can it be made more effective at a time of dwindling resources? Which areas should be prioritized? How can we (re)think about evaluation? How can we combat the French people’s distrust of public action? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed during this session.
