Prizes and distinctions : “Économie de l’éducation”, winner of the AFSE Best Book Prize

The awards ceremony for the best economics book by the French Economic Association (AFSE) was held on June 13 at the Banque de France.

The first prize for the best economics book by the French Economic Association (AFSE) was awarded to Luc Behaghel, professor at the Paris School of Economics and director of research at INRAE, for his book “Économie de l’éducation“, co-authored with Julien Grenet, professor at the Paris School of Economics and director of research at the CNRS, and Marc Gurgand, professor at the Paris School of Economics and director of research at the CNRS.

The awards ceremony was followed by a conference organised as part of the matinale de l’économie 2024 on the theme “How can we improve the performance of our education system?”. The speakers included:
