The Demographic Impacts of the Sieges of Paris, 1870–1871

Journal article: Following the Age of Revolution (Osterhammel, 2014), Paris witnessed two wars at the end of the 19th century. Both sieges were waged on people perceived to be socially and politically dangerous.
