Labor Chair : Researchers and PhD students

The Labor Chair includes several associate researchers and allows the recruitment and funding of PhD and postdoctoral students.

Funding for doctoral scholarships

The Labor Chair offers annual funding for doctoral theses, either for three years or for a fourth year. Selected PhD students benefit from privileged access (including access to data) within the partner institutions of the Chair. They also enjoy the same working environment as other economics doctoral students at PSE, complemented by specific guidance within the framework of the Labor Chair (seminars, events, etc.).

The usual schedule is as follows:

  • Early March: Publication on the PSE website of the positions available for the September intake.
  • Early May: Submission of application files.
  • Late May: Interviews of shortlisted candidates by a committee composed of the Scientific Council and representatives of the Chair’s partners.
