It offers a cutting-edge review of the field (with a relatively large selection of topics, depending on each professor) and allows them to identify the frontier on which they will be able to base their own research.

It presents them with the current state of the art in economic research on climate change and environmental policies, makes important points that should be useful for professionals working with policy (about the efficiency of some specific instruments), and reviews the up-to-date techniques that are now used to do research on this topic (to allow professionals to read and discriminate between good research and less interesting analysis).

Yes, of course. But you will receive a separate answer for each program.
While applying to several programs, make sure they are not taking place during the same week while registering.

Yes, at the end of the week, PSE provides an attendance certificate which specifies, the title and the dates of the program. If such a certificate is not enough for your employer/university, do not hesitate to contact the Summer School team directly and request an official letter with the needed information.

You have to confirm your spot to the PSE administration
1 – Follow the steps on the PSE Application platform.
2 – Register to the program by paying the fees corresponding to your status.
3 – Book an accommodation. PSE does not provide housing, but we’ve gathered as much information as we could on where to book a room.
4 – Check if you need to apply for a VISA TOURIST and start the application if needed.

Prepare for the program
5 – Check if there is a workshop within your program and let the director know if you wish to submit a paper and submit it once ready.
6 – Check out if there is a computer needed & if there is a software needed (see in the description of each program and courses).
7 – Have a look at the references, and start reading them to get the best of your week here.

PSE does not provide accommodation, but we gathered as much information as we could on where to book a room in Paris and near the campus.

The Jourdan Campus gathers around 1500 researchers, students, and administrative teams of the PSE and the École Normale Supérieure – PSL. Our 1-hectare campus offers ideal conditions, and you’ll have access to the classrooms, the cafeteria, the terraces and the garden.

The Campus is located at 48 boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris.
