We have assembled a team of more than 50 professors in a wide variety of subjects, all dedicated to offering you a full-time top quality mix of courses and tutorials. There are ten one-week programs, entirely run in English, each of which includes a total of around 30 hours of instruction. Online materials in advance, available and accessible teachers, and classes of no more than 40 participants are some of the main hallmarks of our Summer School.

A Summer School is a very different experience from the ordinary academic or professional year. At PSE, you have the chance to seize the days – and the courses – to enrich your skills and to benefit from a unique combination of cutting-edge research, original methods and approaches, and inspiring teachers. In 2017, as one of the top seven Economics departments in the world, the Paris School of Economics is at the cutting-edge and avant-garde of economics and social sciences disciplines.
3. Benefit from studying on our brand-new campus
The 2017 edition will take place in the new PSE building, situated on the Jourdan campus, which has just been officially inaugurated by President François Hollande. Jointly funded by the Région Île-de-France, the central state and the City of Paris, the 12,500 m2 building houses researchers, students, and administrative teams of the PSE and the Ecole normale supérieure. Bright classrooms, a green and quiet garden, numerous chill-out spaces and working facilities are waiting for you, one step from the Cité Universitaire and Montsouris Park, two steps from the city centre via public transport.

Last year, 42 nationalities were represented among the participants of our first edition. This is a genuine opportunity to interact with a diverse range of professionals and students from a variety of backgrounds : analysts, economists and consultants in private and public bodies, PhD students, academics, managers… Our teaching staff are also heterogeneous, they work in Paris but they come from Italy, Sweden, Israel, the USA, Belgium, the UK, Colombia and further.

For centuries, Paris has created and recreated itself as one of the most beautiful and charming cities of the world, through its architecture, its restaurants and cafes, or its river banks. It is unique : contemporary without having sacrificed its classical features. PSE offers social events, such as guided tours and aperitifs in a privately booked wine bar. It’s a wonderful way to balance your everyday studies with the chance to visit the must-sees of the City of Light.
