Economics for everybody : Assessment of the French health system by Pierre-Jean Lancry and Lise Rochaix

Two years after the beginning of the pandemic, Pierre-Jean Lancry, president of the Haut Conseil pour l’avenir de l’assurance maladie (HCAAM) and Lise Rochaix, professor at Paris School of Economics and head of the Hospinnomics chair, offer us an assessment of the French health system.

Lise Rochaix is professor at the Paris School of Economics and head of the Hospinnomics Chair. Her research focuses on the evaluation of public policies, in a comparative approach, both international and sectoral, with a particular interest in the regulation, in terms of efficiency and equity, of health care systems.

Pierre-Jean Lancry is a health economist and president of the Haut conseil pour l’avenir de l’assurance maladie (HCAAM) and general manager of the Mutualité Sociale Agricole des Côtes Normandes.
