Salary is only one factor to consider when talking about job satisfaction. To estimate accommodation satisfaction, Andrew Clark “removes” salary satisfaction to measure only other factors that come into consideration. It thus analyses inequalities in the labor market in a different way.

Andrew Clark is a chaired professor at the Paris School of Economics. He holds a PhD from LSE. Prior to PSE, he held posts at Dartmouth, Essex, CEPREMAP, DELTA, the OECD and the University of Orléans. He was one of the first researchers in Economics to use data on subjective well-being. He is an Information Systems Inc. (ISI) Highly-Cited Researcher.
