In this interview, Dominique Bureau and Philippe Gagnepain offer an overview of the prospects for improving urban mobility.

Dominique Bureau is general delegate of the Commission on Sustainable Development Economics (CEDD). He is Chairman of the Autorité de la statistique publique and of the comité pour l’économie verte. He is also a lecturer at École polytechnique and chairman of the steering committee of the Sustainable Development Chair.

Philippe Gagnepain is a professor at the Paris School of Economics and the university Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is also co-holder of the Urban New Deal Chair at PSE. His work focuses on competition policy, industrial dynamics and innovation, transportation economics, and contract theory and mechanism design.
