A very limited number of excellence scholarships will be awarded by PSE to exceptional candidates entering the first year of the Master APE. These scholarships aim to provide better study conditions at PSE for highly promising students. The scholarships amount to 12,000 euros for the first year (1,200 euros per month from September to June). They can be extended by an additional 12,000 euros if the student continues into the second year of the Master’s at PSE, provided their GPA in the first year is equal to or greater than the average GPA of the cohort. When applying for the master, candidates must submit a specific application, which includes a CV and a cover letter.

Similarly, with the same objective, some excellence scholarships will also be awarded by PSE to highly promising students entering directly into the second year of the Master APE. These scholarships are also 12,000 euros for the second year (1,200 euros per month from September to June). When applying, candidates must submit a specific application, which includes a CV and a cover letter.

Depending on your nationality, financial aid may also be available from different institutions (central banks, embassies, foundations, etc.). We invite you to explore the different possibilities available on the websites of EHESS and Campus France.

Each year, APE admits 60-70 students in M1 and additionally 15-30 places in M2 (excluding students from M1).

The Master APE aims at academic excellence and as such is selective on admission. On average, 20 to 25% of applications are accepted for the M1 and 10 to 15% for the M2 (excluding students from the M1).

No. APE is a full-time program.

Nevertheless, exceptionally, some candidates may benefit from a staggered schooling and therefore an additional year to complete their master. Be careful, the staggering of schooling is not allowed automatically and it is subject to the agreement of the program director. In total, only one additional year can be granted (the master must be validated in maximum three years from the M1 or two years from the M2).

Candidates wishing to benefit from this facility will have to clearly specify this during the application process through a cover letter.

Nominations must be in English or French. An official transcript of documents is required for any other language.

Once you’ve completed and validated your application, you will receive an automatic email of confirmation.

Then, on your candidate profile, you will be able to check the status of your application: in progress, missing files…

When reviewing the file, transcripts are not sufficient to get an idea of the content of the courses that candidates took during their previous studies. Candidates must therefore provide a detailed description of the courses that will allow the jury to assess the adequacy of the previous curriculum with that of the Master APE.

When you complete your application online, you will need to provide some details about your referees, including their email addresses. Once you validate this information, they will receive an email with a link to a page where they can submit their letters. Make sure to inform the referees in question before filling in and validating their details.

No. The only platform for applications is PSE Application. However, if you need to follow the Campus France procedure for you visa, you should also create a separate application on their platform.

Candidates can apply to more than one master program at PSE at the same time. In this case, they need to submit separate applications for each program. Each program has an independent admission jury, so applying to one program does not affect the chances of being accepted in another program. Some candidates may be admitted to more than one program.
